YOU CANSPEND QUALITY TIME
With Your Child At Home
Parents, you are the biggest supporters in your child's learning progress. You can make sure they have as much time to play as possible during the day to promote cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development.
PARENTS' ROLE IN PLAY ACTIVITY
SETTING UP PLAY
Parents are encouraged to organize materials in a way that children can easily access them. It is important to remember that children should be introduced to these tools first and then allowed repeated exposure throughout time.
PROVIDE ADEQUATE TIME
Parents are encouraged to set aside time during activity. It is critical to provide ample time for children to plan their play and to position themselves in play.
ENTERING PLAY
Parents can include questioning during activity. Parents should also be mindful when setting up play; it is important for the child to take ownership in designing the play.
GIVE FEEDBACK
Parents are encouraged to praise and give encouraging words to your child after the activity.
