The Covid-19 situation has turned our lives upside down with our mental health taking the brunt of it. Fear, stress, and anxiousness are all normal responses. However, these negative feelings can affect our family when it goes unchecked.
Children especially take their emotional cues from their parents.
Even before they can understand languages, children are able to tell if we’re distressed, simply based on our facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice . Additionally, children often learn through mimicking what we do, meaning that our children would soon adopt these negative emotions and thinking patterns.
